I’m a driven and competent designer with over a decade of experience. I posses a vast range of skills and have experience ranging across various disciplines, moving easily between simultaneous projects and tasks.

Focussing on all things design; from interiors and styling, to graphic design including both printed and digital material – I am confident working on projects from concept to completion.

Having had the opportunity to work for both global and New Zealand based companies within a range of industries, I understand the key balance between client requirements and expert design craft.

Working at multi-award-winning creators of international film, book and exhibition projects, my main role is to work alongside the design director to create all aspects of the company’s publications. My day-to-day tasks include all things design, as well as the creation of any associated marketing material. I also manage all production requirements including briefing and liaising with printers, authors, photographers and other external partners. Notable projects I have worked on include the Netflix series Live to Lead, and best-selling books including The Recipe, What the Fat?, 200 Women and more.

With my primary focus being aimed towards daily advertising, my main role within the company was working with the sales and marketing teams on material for the daily EDMs and Google display adverts. I was also responsible for monitoring the company’s theme calendar, and was later involved with the initial creation and design of ShopViva – an e-commerce collaboration between GrabOne and Viva magazine.

After completing a month-long internship at Ogilvy, I was offered a part-time position in the photography studio while completing my studies. My role was to assist the photographers, stylists and samples co-ordinator with set preparation, prop sourcing and styling for the regular Countdown catalogues and Briscoes mailers.

I worked part-time while completing my studies at Artport, a premium art gallery at Auckland International Airport showcasing New Zealand’s art and photography. When I wasn’t on the shop floor building long-lasting relationships with clients and delivering exceptional sales results, I helped with tasks as required including stock management, organising transfers, generating reports and assisting with the setup of promotions and visual merchandising.
